I genuinely feel like I must be missing something, because there is no way that anyone could think this was an acceptable way to play this damn game.
But on top of that: after doing that horrible kite-dance around 40 times, then you have to make a town portal so that you can run back and "repair" your stack of javelins to have enough ammo to shoot? Bows come with 350 arrows that fire as fast as the bow will allow - but javelins come with 40, that you have to go back to town for a repair to refill?!? Who wants to play like this? Launch a poison javelin, then kite for four seconds while you wait for the never-announced cooldown. Poison Plague Javelin Amazon Build Guide Diablo II: Resurrected - Guides - Wowhead Poison. WTF am I missing? This is the singularly most annoying experience I have ever had in this game, to the point that by level 19 I seriously want to hurl my monitor out the door. Javazon builds were a true staple of the original Diablo 2. When D2R came out, I saw an article on leveling the javazon as a poison/plague build until level 30 or 40 or so, and decided to try it out. I loved playing a bowazon back in the day, but never really made an Amazon on the javelin side of things, despite hearing for years about how much fun a lightning javazon is.
